YOU MATTER!! Holiday Spritz Cookies by YMYLs Anna & Mary.

Lyrics to "You Matter Holiday" by YMYLs Anna & Mary.
(Sing to the melody of 12 Days of Christmas)

You matter can change your world, your mood, your mind, your heart
A message that fills me with glee (Chorus)
Two simple words
Three avid readers
Four chocolate bars
Five honor rolls
Six Eddie nominations
Reaching 7 continents
8!  Motive-8 your friends
Nine letters helping
Ten happy fingers
One more makes eleven
Twelve festive cookies
And a message that fills me with glee!

Happy Holidays!  #YOUMATTER

Hello all! Two You Matter Young Leaders just listened in on the Edublog Awards, half listening and half studying!   Also, some big news! The Innovations Lab Blog was shortlisted, which means that lots of people were nominated but IL was included on the official nominee list.   Angela Maiers was shortlisted AND a finalist.   During the after party, me and my sister picked up the mic and spoke to people all over the world-live!  We congratulated all of the people that were nominated and (of course) the winners. We gave an extra special thank you to Angela Maiers!
While this was happening, our mom was drawing on the whiteboard in the meeting room. See if you can spot our You Matter mascot, Atlas the Stick Guy. He will soon be starring in an upcoming video!  Stay tuned!

Here's an idea, parents!
During the first quarter, my sister and I made honor roll. To reward us for our good grades, our mom made us an actual Honor Roll. Thanks, Mom!
What a great way to say #YOU MATTER

You Matter Young MOVIE MAKERS!

You Matter Young Leaders are inventive! Three YMYLs’ passion for reading took us on a creative journey into the world of movies. Once we saw the amazing response to our You Matter video, we realized we love making (and being in) home-made films. This kick-started our idea to make our own movie adaptation of Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, the first edition to our favorite book series. However, since our dad is a musician, we have some insight about copyright laws. So, we decided to use a short film to ask for permission from Mr. Riordan, the author. We hope to hear from him soon… Read more about our request to Mr. Riordan here.
P.S. Can you find our You Matter banner in the video?
